Meet Disha Subramanium

For Disha, interior design has always been about far more than creating beautiful spaces. It is about understanding how people live, what brings them comfort, and how thoughtfully designed environments can quietly shape everyday life. As the Principal Designer, she approaches every project with the belief that a home should feel deeply personal, timeless, and entirely reflective of the people who inhabit it.

Disha’s journey into design has been anything but conventional. Before building her practice in interior design, she pursued a career in law, an experience that continues to influence her work through a strong foundation in structure, detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. While creativity always remained a natural instinct, it was this disciplined approach that eventually shaped the thoughtful process she now brings to every project.

Determined to follow her passion for design, Disha moved to Italy to study at Istituto Marangoni in Milan, where she refined her understanding of global design, craftsmanship, materiality, and the philosophy that true luxury is rooted in longevity rather than trends. This experience became the foundation for her design language, one that values timelessness, individuality, and spaces that evolve beautifully over time.

At the heart of her studio is a deeply collaborative approach. Every project begins with understanding the client’s lifestyle, routines, and personal relationship with their space. Rather than following formulas, Disha believes every home should carry its own identity, shaped around the lives unfolding within it. Her work blends thoughtful functionality with refined aesthetics, creating interiors that feel sophisticated yet deeply lived in.

Drawing inspiration from travel, architecture, Indian craftsmanship, and a strong appreciation for art and materiality, her spaces are layered with warmth, texture, and carefully considered detail. From concept development to final execution, she remains closely involved in every stage of the process, ensuring every home is crafted with precision and intention.
